Sometimes, I wonder at the size of the world. How, when I live in a city of millions, I still seem to run into people I know... in the subways, on the sidewalks, at restaurants, at the gym. I'm so used to a small town that I sometimes forget that this world of ours is really just a big small town in itself.
Sometimes I wonder at the size of my heart, too. Squeezing so much love into one little place. Just when I think I've got too many people to love - too many friends already - lots and lots of family - someone can come along and sneak on into the party. Every time I turn around, there's a new smile lovin' up my heart.
And sometimes, like tonight, I wonder just for the sake of wondering.
